For our Alpha submission, each team member was assigned specific tasks to the game’s development.
- One member (Alex) was required to create interactable enemies and focused on implementing an inventory system, allowing players to manage their items and resources throughout the game.
- Another member (Mark) was tasked with crafting playable characters with complete animations and sprite assets. This involved creating visually appealing characters, and ensuring dynamic and believable animations for the characters.
- I took on the responsibility of creating 3D assets and props for the game’s environment. Each asset was thoughtfully designed to contribute to the overall atmosphere and gameplay of the game.
However, as the deadline approached, we found ourselves falling behind in terms of progress. To catch up, we began having meetings to discuss our progress, and identify any challenges to work through together. We prioritized tasks based on their importance on the overall project. This helped us to focus our efforts on completing critical elements first before moving on to less crucial tasks.
